sp_blocker_pss08 Analysis

Hi All,

We have implemented sp_blocker_pss08 in our sql instances to identify blocking. I tried using the SHERLOCK tool after referring the below links

I am still unable to get a brief detail on the blocking. Are there better options for analyzing blocking and performing a historical analysis on the same. I am unable to find references to SP_BLOCKER_PSS08 for future sql server versions such as sql 2008 and sql 2008R2. 

Requesting someone to suggest how to proceed or if there are better alternatives to effectively track blockings and fix them.
