Hi All,
I have a SQL database that I would like to snapshot every night. The data in the database is fairly static and the reason I'm taking a nightly snapshot is to show the change in data from one day to the next. I don't intend for the snapshot to be a "backup" of the database as those are being done by the system administrator team. However would it be possible to use the most recent snapshot as a revert point in time database? Reading the documentation it doesn't appear so if I have multiple snapshots.
At no point in time would I want to revert to a snapshot older than the most recent one, but if for some reason someone deleted some critical data during the current day, I would like to be able to revert to the most recent point in time that the snapshot was taken.
Am I understanding this document correctly?

Thanks for the help,
